  • MCR Tutoring & Coaching College is the brainchild, and dream-child, of three partners. Two of us are practicing physicians and the third is a Ph.D. Scientist. All of us have teaching experience in universities while one of us also has experience teaching in high schools. Our high school teacher partner has helped his students achieve extremely strong results each year; for example, 29% – 38% of students in his class have consistently achieved raw study score of 40 or greater each year in Year 12 VCE Chemistry. Likewise, his Math and Science students also significantly improve their results.
  • All three of us have children who are currently in school. We want success for them, as do you for your child. We know what it takes to succeed in academics. We want to provide a cost-effective platform for your child to succeed on the academic front. Establishing MCR Coaching is our first step in that direction.
  • We want to offer you the opportunity to inculcate the love for learning in your child from an early age, especially for the subjects of Mathematics and Science. That is why we offer classes to students starting from year 3 onward.
  • Our goal is to engage your child in the learning and to improve his or her results regardless of their current level. Our tutoring is tailored to help improve the outcomes of gifted students as well as students who need more support.
  • We focus on the subjects of Mathematics, Science and English at each year. We also focus on training your child in Analytical Reasoning or Critical Reasoning.
  • Research has shown that there is a strong correlation between academic success and children who have been exposed to such critical reasoning skills. In fact, almost all Scholarship Examinations in primary and secondary schools, and all entrance examinations for universities such as the UMAT, GAMSAT, SAT, ACT, etc., include a component based on critical reasoning or logical reasoning. Becoming better at problem solving and logical reasoning will have a positive domino effect on all other subjects.
